Why We Gather Pt17 | LOve (Agape) never fails 1CO 13

In 1 Corinthians 13, Paul reminds us that in this life, we only know in part and see in part—our vision is limited, like looking through a dim mirror. We don't have the full picture yet. But in the midst of that uncertainty and imperfection, Paul directs us to something that is complete, unshakable, and eternal: Agape love.

This is not just any love—this is God’s love. Selfless. Sacrificial. Unconditional. It's the love that sent Jesus to the cross. It's the love that continues to pour into our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). And it is the greatest of all the gifts.

Paul called it "the more excellent way." Why? Because Agape never fails.

Today, we ask: is this love gushing out of us? Is it evident in the way we treat one another, in our churches, in our communities, and in how we respond to a broken world?

I’m convinced this is the missing piece in much of the American Church. We’ve got doctrine, structure, programs, and passion—but without Agape, Paul says, we are nothing.

Let’s return to the core. Let’s pursue the gift that lasts forever. Join us as we discover and embrace Agape—the love that never fails.
